How to Book a Funeral Live Stream
When you're organising a funeral, the last thing you need is complicated logistics. Booking a funeral live stream with TributeCast.NZ is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible, even at the most difficult time.
This post walks you through exactly what's involved, from making the initial enquiry to having everything in place on the day of the service.
When Should You Get in Touch?
The sooner the better. Funerals are often arranged quickly, sometimes within 48 to 72 hours of a death. We do our best to accommodate bookings at short notice, but the earlier you contact us, the more time we have to prepare properly.
If you know in advance that a live stream will be needed, for example, if a loved one is in their final days, reaching out before the service date is confirmed can give us extra time to plan. There's no obligation, and we're happy to have a preliminary conversation before anything is finalised.
What Information Do We Need?
When you contact TributeCast.NZ, we'll ask for the key details of the service: the date, time, and location; the name of the funeral home or director if applicable; and an approximate sense of the number of remote viewers expected.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you call. We can work with you as the details are confirmed, and we're used to funeral arrangements that sometimes change at short notice.
Choosing a Package
We offer a range of packages to suit different needs and budgets. During your initial conversation, we'll explain the options and help you identify what's right for your family. Key questions include whether you need a recording as well as a live stream, how many viewers you're expecting, and whether you have any specific requirements around privacy or accessibility.
If you're not sure what you need, that's absolutely fine. We'll guide you through the options without any pressure.
Confirming the Booking
Once you've chosen a package and the service details are confirmed, we'll lock in the booking. You'll receive confirmation with everything you need to know, including when we'll arrive at the venue and how the viewing link will be shared.
What Happens After You Book?
We'll liaise with the venue and funeral director to make sure our setup requirements are understood in advance. On the day, we arrive early to set up and test everything before the service begins. You receive a private link and password to share with your remote guests, and we handle the rest.
From the moment you contact us to the moment the stream ends, we aim to make the process as easy as possible for you and your family.
