Everything You Need to Know Before Booking

If you're considering booking a funeral live stream and want to understand everything involved before you commit, this post is for you. Here's a complete overview.

When to Book

As soon as possible. Funerals are arranged quickly, and the earlier you contact us, the more time we have to prepare. If you're still in the early stages and don't have all the details yet, reach out anyway, we can begin the conversation and fill in the details as they're confirmed.

What to Have Ready

When you contact us, it's helpful to have the date, time, and location of the service ready, along with the name of the funeral director or home if applicable. If you have a sense of how many remote viewers are expected, that helps us recommend the right package. But don't worry if you don't have everything, we can work with you as the details develop.

What We Handle

We handle all of the technical side: the equipment, the setup, the internet connection, the streaming platform, the recording, and the monitoring during the service. You don't need any technical knowledge. You don't need to manage any technology on the day. Your job is to be present with your family, ours is to make sure the stream runs smoothly.

What Viewers Need

Remote viewers need only a device with a browser and an internet connection. No apps, no accounts, no downloads. We provide a private link and password before the service, which you share with the people you want to invite. We recommend they test the link the day before, and we're available to help with any technical questions.

What About the Recording?

Most packages include a recording. It becomes available through the same private link after the service and remains accessible for a set period. If you want to download the recording permanently, mention this when you book. If you want it available for longer than the standard hosting period, we can discuss options.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

Our equipment is professional and our preparation is thorough. We also carry 4G/5G backup internet to ensure we're not dependent on any single connection. In the unlikely event of a technical issue, we have the experience and backup systems to resolve it quickly. We monitor the stream throughout the service so that any problems are caught and corrected before viewers notice.
