Frequently Asked Questions About Funeral Live Streaming

FAQ

If you're considering a funeral live stream for the first time, you probably have questions. Here are the ones we hear most often, with straightforward answers.

How far in advance do I need to book?

As soon as you know the service details. We understand that funerals are often arranged quickly, and we do our best to accommodate short-notice bookings. The earlier you contact us, the better prepared we can be.

Does the venue need to provide internet?

No. We bring our own 4G/5G mobile internet capability to every service. If the venue has reliable internet, we may use it alongside our own. If not, we use our backup connection. You don't need to arrange anything with the venue.

Is the stream private?

Yes. We do not stream to YouTube or any public platform. Every stream is password-protected and hosted on a secure, private page. Only people you share the link and password with can watch.

What do viewers need to watch?

Just a device, phone, tablet, laptop, or smart TV, with a browser and an internet connection. No apps or accounts required.

Can viewers watch later if they can't watch live?

Yes, in most packages. The recording is available through the same private link after the service, for a set hosting period. Viewers in different time zones can watch at a time that suits them.

Can I download the recording?

Download options are available. If this is important to you, mention it when you book and we'll ensure your package includes it.

What if the stream drops during the service?

Our 4G/5G backup internet significantly reduces this risk. Our operator monitors the stream throughout the service and can respond immediately to any issues. Technical failures during services are rare when the right preparation has been done.

How many people can watch at once?

Our packages accommodate a range of viewer numbers. If you have a very large number of remote viewers expected, mention this when you book and we'll make sure the platform can handle it.

Do you work with funeral directors?

Yes. We work alongside funeral directors regularly and are experienced in coordinating with them on timing and logistics. If you're a funeral director, we're happy to discuss how we can work together.
