Funeral Live Streaming Packages Explained

Not every funeral live stream needs to be identical. Some families need a simple, reliable broadcast so that a few distant relatives can watch. Others need a recording that can be shared and revisited for years to come. TributeCast.NZ offers packages that reflect these different needs.

This post explains what's typically included in a funeral live streaming package, and what to consider when choosing the right option for your family.

The Live Stream

Every package we offer includes a professional live stream of the service. This means a dedicated camera, professional audio capture, and a stable internet connection, including 4G/5G backup to ensure reliability regardless of the venue's own connectivity.

The stream is delivered through a private, password-protected page. You control who has access by sharing the link and password only with invited guests. There's no public broadcast and no risk of strangers watching.

The Recording

Most packages include a recording of the service. The recording is made available through the same private link after the service ends, and remains accessible for a set period, typically a number of weeks. This gives remote viewers in difficult time zones the ability to watch in their own time, and gives the whole family the option to revisit the service later.

For some families, the recording becomes an important keepsake, something they return to on anniversaries, or share with people who weren't aware of the death until after the service.

Viewer Numbers

Our packages accommodate different numbers of simultaneous viewers. If you're expecting only a handful of people to watch remotely, a standard package will be more than sufficient. If you have a larger extended family or a community that extends internationally, we can ensure the stream handles the load.

What to Consider When Choosing

When selecting a package, think about three things: how many people will be watching remotely, whether a recording is important to your family, and whether there are any specific requirements around how long the recording should remain available.

If you're unsure, we're happy to talk you through the options. There's no obligation, and our goal is to make sure you have exactly what you need, not more, not less.
